Regional Forum for Democracy, Reconciliation, and Strategic Analyses (WBN)

A think tank and non-profit non-governmental organization based in Montenegro. It is dedicated to promoting and devising actions and strategies that would aid in the spread of democracy, reconciliation, and a culture of dialogue in the Western Balkan countries during their accession process to the European Union.

Mission of WBN is to create a network of experts, political actors, institutions, activists, and non-
governmental organizations with a common agenda of promoting EU practices, values, and
achievements.

The activities of WBN are directed towards three main areas:

  • diplomatic and international engagement
  • strategic analyses and reports
  • project implementation and organization of conferences, summer schools, prayer breakfasts, workshops, and academies for young leaders
WBN aims to achieve several key goals through its activities, including strengthening a network of individuals and organizations focused on preserving the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and democracy of Western Balkan countries during their EU integration. It seeks to provide high-quality information to political entities and organizations to counter malign influence, create platforms to defend against territorial expansion, subversive propaganda, and religious abuse, and educate the public, especially youth, to foster critical thinking. WBN also works on transferring knowledge to support young leaders in politics and activism and promotes values that encourage reconciliation and respect for diverse national, cultural, and religious identities.
