WestBalkanNet: Regional Forum for Democracy, Reconciliation, and Strategic Analyses (WBN) is a think tank and non-profit non-governmental organization based in Montenegro. It is dedicated to promoting and devising actions and strategies that would aid in the spread of democracy, reconciliation, and a culture of dialogue in the Western Balkan countries during their accession process to the European Union.

Mission of WBN is to create a network of experts, political actors, institutions, activists, and non-governmental organizations with a common agenda of promoting EU practices, values, and achievements.

Vision of WBN are open, reconciled, and democratic societies immune to malign, subversive, and hybrid influences from non-democratic regimes that undermine the integration processes of the Western Balkan region into the EU.

Through its activities, WBN will focus on the following goals:

• Establishing and strengthening a network of individuals and organizations with a common goal of preserving the territorial integrity, sovereignty, constitutional order, and multinational democracy of Western Balkan countries during their transition and integration into the EU.
• Providing more detailed and higher-quality information to political entities and organizations in the region, EU countries, and the United States to enable strategic and preventive action against malign influence.
• Creating platforms and mechanisms for defense against territory expansion projects, subversive propaganda, the abuse of religious institutions, and assimilation policies.
• Educating the broader public with an emphasis on young people to promote the creation of a democratically educated society capable of critical thinking and forming opinions based on objectivity and facts.
• Implementing an interdisciplinary concept of knowledge and experience transfer to support the formation of young leaders ready for a visionary and more proactive approach to politics and activism.
• Sharing common values and principles that will lead to reconciliation of societies, respect for national, cultural, and religious identities, and subsequently to an understanding, appreciation, protection, and enhancement of multinational and multireligious communities in which we live.
