As part of his official visit to Montenegro, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, visited the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature, where he met with members of the WestBalkanNet (WBN) organization, Boban Batrićević and Aleksandar Radoman, both professors at the faculty. The meeting took place in the “Vaclav Havel” corner and was also attended by representatives of Montenegrin civil sector, Dina Bajramspahić and Zlatko Vujović, as well as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Montenegro, H.E. Janina Hřebíčková.



WBN representatives briefed President Pavel on the current political and social situation in Montenegro, the state of democracy, human rights, and security challenges in the country. They also presented the WBN’s initiative, which focuses on regional cooperation and strengthening the European integration of the countries in the Western Balkans.
President Pavel expressed his support for the efforts of organizations and institutions advocating for the democratization and stability of the region, emphasizing the importance of shared values and Montenegro’s European perspective.
